After all, I’m a teacher at heart. I enjoy personal connections and contact and, as a small business owner, have a true passion for helping other small business owners succeed. I listen to your needs and offer small business financial consulting based on your goals and desires for your organization.

I graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2003 with a BS in Accounting, after which I went on to work for an Atlanta CPA firm as a forensic accountant and auditor. Later, I joined the finance department of a global, multi-billion dollar construction company, where I “translated” numbers to non-financial executives to help them understand what was going on and make better business decisions.

That’s what I do best: analyze businesses and explain in clear, understandable language what all those numbers mean for you and your bottom line. And, I use this information to craft tools you can use to make business decisions which complement your unique needs.

I’m a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA). I’m an alumnus of the 2008/09 GSCPA Leadership Academy and I’m an active member of the group’s College Outreach Task Force and the Real Estate Conference Task Force.

A writer and blogger at heart, I write regularly about accounting-related issues for small businesses and CPAs through my blog and AtlantaSmall.biz, an online community I created for local small business experts to share advice and insight on running a company.
